Privacy Policy
Effective July 12, 2026
This policy covers greatlakeswellwater.com, a matching service that connects Michigan homeowners with independent licensed well water treatment contractors. The site is operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon-registered marketing company doing business as Compass Lead Group. Questions about this policy go to [email protected], a monitored inbox.
What we collect
- Information you submit through the match form: name, phone number, email address, Michigan county, water source, your situation, and any contaminant you report.
- Consent records: whether you checked the contact-consent box, and when the form was submitted.
- Technical data collected by our hosting infrastructure, such as IP address and basic request logs. The site currently runs no analytics scripts and sets no advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To match you with an independent licensed well water treatment contractor serving your county.
- To follow up on your request and respond to your questions.
- To keep records of consent and to operate and improve the service.
Who we share it with
- The independent licensed contractor you are matched with, so they can contact you about your request. This is the entire point of the form, and the disclosure above the form says so at the moment you submit.
- Service providers that run the site's plumbing: Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery) and Web3Forms (form delivery). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
- Authorities, if a valid legal process requires it. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Match requests and consent records are retained for at least five years, which is the retention period recommended for consent documentation under federal telemarketing rules. Records with no remaining business or legal purpose are deleted.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of calls or texts at any time by replying STOP to any text or asking to be removed during any call.
- Ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We respond to every verified request.
- Note that deleting your information from our records does not remove it from a contractor you were already matched with; contact that contractor directly as well.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes to how form submissions are shared would be reflected in the form disclosure itself, not only on this page.
