Terms of Service
Effective July 12, 2026
Using greatlakeswellwater.com means accepting these terms. The site is a free matching service for Michigan homeowners on private wells, operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon-registered marketing company doing business as Compass Lead Group.
1. What the service is
Great Lakes Well Water is a marketing and lead generation service. It connects homeowners with independent, licensed well water treatment contractors. Compass Camper LLC is not a contractor, does not perform water testing or treatment work, does not employ tradespeople, and does not set or negotiate the price of any job. How the service earns is described on the how we make money page.
2. Your contract is with the contractor
When you hire a contractor you were matched with through this site, you contract directly with that contractor. The scope, schedule, price, workmanship, permits, and any warranty on the work are between you and them. Compass Camper LLC is not a party to that agreement.
3. No warranty
The site and the matching service are provided as is. Compass Camper LLC does not warrant the work, conduct, licensing status, or insurance coverage of any contractor, and does not warrant that the site's content is error free. Educational content on this site is general information, not engineering, medical, or legal advice; treatment decisions belong with you, your test results, and the licensed professional you hire.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Compass Camper LLC's total liability arising from the site or the matching service is limited to $100. Compass Camper LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any act or omission of an independent contractor.
5. Acceptable use
Submit the match form only for a genuine inquiry about a property you own or are buying, with contact details you are authorized to provide. Do not scrape, republish, or misrepresent the site's content.
6. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service is resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
7. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; the version posted here with the latest effective date controls. Questions go to [email protected].
